In retaliation for the kidnapping of an Israeli soldier, the IDF takes Operation Collective Punishment one step further.

Israeli military officials said that the prime minister, Ehud Olmert, had approved a “limited operation” for southern Gaza, aimed at “terrorist infrastructure”.

Sorry, make that Operation Limited Collective Punishment, striking forensically only against terrorist bridges and terrorist power plants (which supply only known terrorist hospitals, etc.).

Still, at least this proves that Israel won’t be intimidated by the Palestinians’ insistence on having roads and things.
